Girls Excelling in Math and Science (GEMS) Project
Working with GEMS founder, faculty, and graduate students to write research grants, including National Science Foundation and United States Department of Agriculture. Plan and organize research agenda, develop a survey, conduct interviews with original GEMS participants, lead the study with original GEMS participants.
2017 - Present
Curriculum Studies
Conducting comparison research on mathematics curriculum (i.e., standards. textbooks, and assessments) in China and the U.S.
2020 - 2022
Building a Community of Diverse, Inclusive, and Justice-Oriented Scholars in the College of Education
Collaborating with five other team members to develop and implement an online Professional Development course on critical perspectives in education for in- and pre-service teachers, administrators, and educators, and conduct research with the course.
2020-2022
Globle Social Justice in Education
Collaborating with two other graduate student colleagues and two supervisors to develop and implement a virtual international course for the U.S and international educators, and conduct research with the course.
